Irene Clancy
Founder | Master Pilates Instructor | Lead Educator
Irene Clancy is the founder of Pilates | Barre and Pilates | Barre EDU, where her passion for movement is matched by her passion for developing confident, knowledgeable teachers.
As a Master Pilates Instructor, studio owner and educator, Irene brings real-world experience into every training. Her approach goes beyond teaching exercises and repertoire—she believes great instructors should understand the why behind the movement, know how to work with the person in front of them and, most importantly, develop a teaching voice that feels authentically their own.
Since opening Pilates | Barre, Irene has built a community-centered studio rooted in connection, education and high-quality instruction. Her commitment to movement and community extends beyond the studio through her role as a three-year lululemon Ambassador, where she continues to create opportunities for people to move, connect and experience wellness together.
Through PB EDU, Irene brings that same philosophy to teacher training, combining comprehensive education with hands-on experience, mentorship and continued support long after certification.
For Irene, teacher training isn’t about creating instructors who all teach the same way. It’s about giving each teacher the foundation, knowledge and confidence to become the instructor only they can be.
Kimmy Bagby
Lead Instructor | Studio Manager | Pilates Educator
Kimmy has been part of Pilates | Barre since the studio first opened its doors and holds a special place in the story of PB EDU as the first instructor to complete our Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program.
Since then, she has grown alongside the studio, stepping into her roles as Lead Instructor and Studio Manager while becoming an integral part of the education and mentorship of future instructors.
As a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor, Kimmy brings both technical knowledge and real-world teaching experience to every training. Having experienced the PB EDU program first as a student and now as an educator, she understands firsthand what it takes to move from learning the method to confidently leading clients and classes of your own.
Her approach is thoughtful, encouraging and rooted in the belief that becoming a great instructor is an ongoing process—one built through practice, curiosity, feedback and experience.
From PB EDU’s first Comprehensive graduate to helping guide the teachers who come next, Kimmy is proof of where a strong foundation can lead.
